This is my favorite restaurant and they charge so much money and can't pass proper health inspection tests.

They have failed numerous health inspections. They aren't washing hands, cooking food incorrectly
and have a high risk of food borne illnesses.

Everything is made fresh and everything is delicious. The house cock tails are fabulous here!

This place is out of this world. Long lines but definitely worth the wait! Everything is made fresh and
everything is delicious.
Although their noodle dishes aren't that good so I suggest you stay away from them. The house
cock tails are fabulous here!
The prices are okay but it a great place for lunch and dinner. Wouldn't recommend for a snack
especially witht the long wait.

This whole thing pissed me off, I used to have a pretty good impression on Din Tai Fung.

This is for the receptionists.
I walked in to a 30% full Din Tai Fung at 9:30 pm after a movie, so I asked for a table for one. The
receptionist asked me:"would you be interested in the bar?" I said I can, but you have so many
empty tables. She hesitated for a bit and said she needed to ask for permission, then she went on
and said something to her earbud. I did not understand why she needed permission to seat a
customer at a table in a 30% full restaurant.
I waited for about 3 minutes, then it seemed like she received a response. At this moment, the male
receptionist standing beside her jokingly suggested a 15 minute wait time to her, right in front of my eyes. I was like what the FUCK is wrong with you?! You think this is funny?
Then the receptionist proceeded to seat me at an awkward walkway position table that's so close to
the wall that every one goes pass would brush on the table, while the rest of the whole area was
completely empty.
I asked to sit at an adjacent 2-person table, she hesitated again. I was like, are you gonna ask for
permission again? Fortunately, the server(turned out to be mine) who was standing next to us
said:"you can sit anywhere you want." Thank you! I thought that's how it always should have been.
