Description

Cowlitz River: The Cowlitz River is hot for steelhead and some of the steelhead being brought in are of great size. Guys in boats are side drifting with beads or eggs as well as pulling plugs. For beads, guys have been opting for a bigger size bead such as a 10 or 12 mm due to the higher water we are facing this spring. Natural red, pinks and oranges have been the hot bead colors. As we get farther into spring springers will start to become more common. Shore anglers have been drifting with bait and beads as well around the blue creek or barrier dam areas

I am familiar with their excellent service as my brother in law drove from Bend, OR to purchase a boat from them a few years back. He received that same high level of service then and I'm happy to see it continues today.

Customer service is easy when all goes well. You really learn the true heart of a company when things don't quite go to plan. I had acquired a Honda 9.9 outboard with the purchase of our sailboat last year. The motor had sat for a number of years and I had no idea for how long nor did I have any history on the engine. Curt and his team serviced it and had it running great. During the trip back to the boat in the back of the rig I must have jarred loose some more dirt. I could not get it started. Back to the shop. Curt and his teamed jumped on it. They discover the issue and corrected it. The most refreshing was they offered no excuses. Just took care of me at the highest level. I am familiar with their excellent service as my brother in law drove from Bend, OR to purchase a boat from them a few years back. He received that same high level of service then and I'm happy to see it continues today. I can't thank you enough.

Pricey and left concerns unresolved

Pricey and left concerns unresolved.  

Had annual service done and needed to return for service on both the kicker and the main after the first use of the season. Only 1 season of use on both motors which are virtually brand new. Of course both needed repairs had nothing to do with the work just completed. 

They wait for you to call with questions regarding scope of work and time needed for repairs.  A little communication goes a long way and would have been appreciated. They must be too busy to call or be thorough.

The service was more expensive than other shops in the region, and was not worth the extra cost nor the effort. 

Won't be going back.
