Honest, professional & great workmanship.

Honest, professional & great workmanship. No one will fix a broken timing guide on a Audi A4.Dealer wanted 10k for a new engine, charged $100 elsewhere just to diagnose the issue. Mr Dorel was courteous in every ways, explaining the issues, troubleshooting as well giving the best advice whether to fix or not to. The car runs like a dream, more power & less engine noise. The overhaul is costly ( reasonable considered what the dealer wanted) He went above & beyond the service call to make sure everything is done right.

First time went in to get B service for Mercedes. Dorel was great!, he quoted me for the service, was honest about it, and did it really fast. He also recommended other things I should do to extend life of car, but did not need to do it right now. Now, who does that? - usually mechanics want to make money and send you on your way, but not Dorel. I really did not want to write this review, because when I went to him, he had so many cars he was working on, and I did not want anyone else to go there in case I cant make an appointment. But that would not be fair to Dorel. So if your looking for an honest mechanic, looking to deal with someone who has been in the business repairing european cars for years, and like dealing with the owner directly, than this is the place. Now mind you, not the cheapest, if you are looking for the cheapest, its best you don't go here, because I definitely do not want the cheapest mechanic, two reasons -- Might stinge on parts - Might go out of business real fast. Both options would be bad.... So try him guys...but one con - not open on weekends....but hey, close to home so that's good. And if your wondering if I got paid for this review, like Amazon does, nope! - not a penny, and I don't want one either...we need honest reviews from real people. That's how I decided to come to him in the first place...he was the only one in Kirkland who had recent reviews...as opposed to review from 2016, 2015 or even 2014 as the latest ones... Good luck!

Dorel was honest, helpful and accommodating. He communicated what the problem was exactly and my options. Dorel was very easy to work with and his staff are very knowledgable. I would recommend this place to anyone especially those living on the eastside.

I have rarely come across any business owner who is as honest as customer-focused. He is extremely honest and gave me the advise which no other auto shop would give (Free). He pays attention to details and can point to most minutest detail that even a Honda of Bellevue misses (after charging a bomb). That's because he gives personal-attention and does not follow any pre-set checklist. Clearly he loves his job. Whole-heartedly recommending him.

This guy. This guy. Very rare you find a mechanic that will turn down an opportunity to bilk you for a massive repair and instead replace a filter for free. I've sent many troubled cars. Not sure how he makes money because he always seems to do beyond the right thing.

I will never bring my Benz anywhere else!

So so impressed with Dorel. He is extremely personable and professional at the same time. He texts me for permission before he does ANY work and tells me exactly what it will cost. He will tell me if a certain service is imperative, or if it can wait. I will never bring my Benz anywhere else!

A friend of mine referred me to Dorels and after having my car serviced there I can't say enough good things about them. They are fast, friendly, professional and have great prices. Another firm quoted me nearly twice what Dorels charged me. I was impressed how honest they were. When my brakes began making noise another place told me I'd have to replace all the brakes, rotors and several other components. Turns out the pads had worn down (after 60k miles) and everything else was fine. Because brakes are a safety issue I was very pleased that they encouraged me to come in immediately. This is the kind of neighborhood business everyone should support. They are easy to work with, never over charge you and treat you like they'd treat their own family. I have been looking for a mechanic of this quality for a while. I owe my friend dinner for letting me know about Dorels.

I'm a car guy and every now and then when I can't troubleshoot an issue. This is the one and only place I would trust to work on my car. It is a legitimate family owned and operated shop, where you actually get to meet the person who works on your car. His expertise is second to none and the price is right for an excellent job. I've brought my Audi and my mother's Corolla and both were fixed at a resonable cost/time.

I have been taking my car there since he was in Totem Lake. Dorel is very honest and has always taken care of all my cars. I own an Audi TT and a Audi 200 and an BMW M3. He is honest and the price is reasonable.
