They charge a reasonable fee for the services rendered.

I've been going to Kinnon's shop since it existed. I believe in loyalty to a business that provides
superb customer service, and K & M is as good as it gets.
I'm in the arts, so money can be tight. Kinnon is always up front about what repairs are necessary
and which ones would be nice to have done, and when. I never feel like I'm being taken advantage
of in terms of costs associated with the work -- that is, they charge a reasonable fee for the services
rendered.
Their workmanship is never shoddy and I am confident that when I drive my car away from the
shop, I am good to go until the next oil change/major service.
And on top of it all, the gang that works there are all swell fellas. The only way they could improve
is to hire a female mechanic. ;)

They took the time to show me around and explain what they had done.Awesome!

Like other reviewers, this is the best auto repair experience I've ever had. I am a huge fan. Kinnon,
Cindy, and Greg are just great. Very friendly, upfront, and honest. I always feel like they give me
decent prices and never try to upsell me on parts or service that I just don't need. I've had small things done here (oil changes, tire rotations, small electrical diagnostics), all the way
up to big things (like half an engine rebuilt requiring some custom machining). I even go here to get
diagnostics and estimates to help me decide if I can repair it myself. I always find their prices are
fair, so sometimes I just save myself some trouble and let them do it!
When I needed a partial rebuild on my truck engine, I went to the dealership and got a time and
cost estimate of 20 business days and almost $3,500. These guys did it in about 10 for around
$2,500 - that's a savings of 50% time and 30% price. They even let me inspect the parts
before/after, and even took the time to show me around and explain what they had done.
Awesome!
Just recently there was a horrible scraping noise coming from my right front wheel of my truck. I
didn't have the time to look into it, so I gave them a call and dropped it off. They looked at it the
next day and found a rock stuck in my rotor. They quickly found it, removed it, rotated my tires, and
checked on a few other things. They didn't charge me a dime. Above and beyond service!
Keep in mind, a great auto shop like this can get busy, so don't be surprised if they don't have an
appointment right away. So plan ahead and come here anyways. It's worth it!
