Description

Shalom!  I welcome you on behalf of the UCiC community.  UCiC is a ministry of the Community Church of Seattle and a non-profit independent school where high expectations of students and faculty are realized in a caring environment that instills a sense of belonging and supports an individual student’s growth and exploration.  We have built a strong community where our guiding principles of honoring God, respecting and loving others, embracing responsibility, encouragement, and integrity and converge to form the foundation of daily life. UCiC is a wonderful place for students, from diverse backgrounds to grow educationally, get involved, and have a meaningful school experience.  We have an excellent staff of teachers and administrators who are dedicated to Christian education and a supportive and positive environment where all students are encouraged and given the attention necessary to achieve individual needs.  I invite you to come and visit our campus located in a beautiful city, Bothell, Washington and I am confident you will see UCiC as the best educational choice for you and your family.

As a full-time working mother, I am confident and absolutely comfortable putting the care of both my children with UCIC!!!

UCIC is such an amazing Learning Center and elementary school.  My daughter is in kindergarten and has been going to UCiC since she was a year old.   My other daughter is 2 1/2 and has been going to UCiC since she was 4 mo.  The whole staff are like family to us!  Many of the teachers that my older daughter had throughout the learning center classes are still the same as my younger daughter has now.  Which tells me they take great care of their teachers and their teachers LOVE what they do!

There is great diversity of students in the school, which I love because my children get exposed to a lot of cultures they wouldn't have otherwise.  I have nothing but positive things to say about UCiC!

My kindergartener is already reading at a first grade level thanks to her amazing teacher and small class size.  They really care about the students and invest in making sure they don't just learn, but they have a TON of fun doing it.  I get pictures almost everyday and frequent emails so I feel very involved in what they are learning about and can talk to my daughter about what they are learning.  They have a great assortment of after school clubs for the school aged children so I can expose my daughter to a variety of different activities.  

The toddler teachers are always sending me pictures of my daughter so I can see what she is up to throughout the day.  Every day when I pick her up, they always have a funny story to tell me.  She loves coming to school to see her friends and teachers and half the time, doesn't want to leave her friends when I come to pick her up!

As a full-time working mother, I am confident and absolutely comfortable putting the care of both my children with UCIC!!!

It is a school that empowers students to take ownership of their learning and teach students to understand the importance of God and education.
