I highly recommend Eastside Spine!

The whole staff is awesome here.

Dr. Coogan was very helpful and professional. It was my first time going to a chiropractor and he took all the"scary" out of it for me. He took plenty of time to explained all the issues I have with my neck and gave a clear plan on how to proceed.

Have also seen Megan the house masseuse. She is by far the best I have been too.

The office is clean and classy but not at all pretentious. The office manager is extremely helpful with my busy schedule and has always gotten my husband and I in when needed.

They are all great. Highly recommend.

My wife and I have both been treated by Ryan Coogan and have also received massages from Megan, their house massage therapist. Both are very professional, very attentive and highly skilled. We've have referred other clients to them who have also been happy with the outcome of care.

The office itself is superbly kept, orderly and clean and the friendly receptionist is super gracious, even when we've missed or been late to an appointment. =)

Highly recommend!

Thought I'd spread the good word and post my review I previously put on Google here on .

I have never had a need for a chiropractor. So when I was having a bout of persistent lower back pain not go away after two months of trying to work it out myself, I decided to look for outside help.

After my initial web inquiry was answered almost immediately, I had a good feeling about this place. The ease to book an initial consultation was seamless and Eastside Spine & Injury became my first and only stop when deciding on a place for treatment.

The first appointment consisted of a thorough consultation which included a x-ray and range of motion test to pinpoint the source of my pain. A second appointment was booked in order to give Dr. Coogan a chance to put together a recommendation and personal plan for me. I was given a number of treatment options. Everything was made very clear. All questions were answered, no matter how routine or menial. I never felt pressured to stay or to go if I felt this wasn't the right choice for me.

From the moment you walk in the door, I can tell that their office is extremely well run. It has a very friendly and light atmosphere while also being quite professional. Dr. Coogan has a very kind and highly efficient team working with him.

Thank you for all you've already done for me Dr. Coogan, Dr. J, Kaela, Megan and Jewels!!

5 Stars!!!

I came into ES&I as a result of monthly migraine headaches, insomnia and chronic mid-back pain. It got to the point of being unbearable, but I didn't want to take medication or approach surgery.

Jewels at the front desk is delightful. Dr. Scott welcomed me in and took his time educating me on chiropractic care. I felt well taken care of and empowered to make the best decision for me in regards to the corrective care plan.

Dr. Coogan and Dr. Scott are knowledgeable in their profession. They have a great sense of humor and made my time there very enjoyable. The first month of care I noticed I had no migraines and the discomfort in my body upon waking was minimal. In the second month, I noticed my sleep became more regular and I wasn't waking up in the middle of the night multiple times like before. One day I could sense a migraine coming on, so I went straight to the office for an adjustment. They accommodated me right away...THESE DOCTORS CARE! It didn't turn into a debilitating migraine and i was able to go about my day with only a dull ache in my head. I now wake in the morning with no pain in my body/mid-back either.

I have transitioned from corrective to my maintenance care program. I couldn't be happier with the service, education, care that this office provided me every time I walked into the office.

I suggest anyone who is having any spine related issues to come here for great chiropractic. There is no pushy sales pitches or forced care that you don't need. They only want to help you get what you need, experience positive results (and will adjust care accordingly) and they are willing to find what works best for each patient.

Hands down this is a 5-star worthy place!!!!

I'm pretty sure this place is a scam.

Not that I doubt the credentials, but the place is weird - cultish even (which would also explain the consistent 5-star ratings). They have group meeting for new patients every Tuesday night to explain the treatment plan process, since they work a little differently than one would expect (RED FLAG). The doctor sets up a full treatment plan after the initial exam. And while the exam does seem thorough, I think it's odd that he can predict just from the exam exactly how much treatment you need, no more no less.. In addition, before telling you the treatment, he really ups the fear factor in how doomed you are.I have relatively minor but pretty much constant upper back pain, which doesn't keep me from doing anything, and he said I have arthritis in my neck, and was very concerned about it. I expect my doctor to be professional, and present the facts in a neutral way, not a concerned that I'm falling apart scary way. He also makes sure that you're at least a 7 out of 10 commitment level before even presenting you with the treatment, or price.

When you finally do find out what the prognosis is, they bundle up the whole plan into a package deal and put on the pressure to get you to commit to the whole plan right away with a discount by paying for it all upfront. Or you can get a smaller discount by doing a 3-installment payment plan. This explains why you need a high commitment level.

As I mentioned before,I have relatively minor upper back pain that while almost constant, doesn't prevent me from doing anything in my life, and I'm pretty active. He wanted me to pay over $2,600 up front for the treatment. I do have insurance but he said he could pretty much guarantee that only 8 visits would be covered due to medical necessity requirements (RED FLAG).

Later I discussed this medical necessity requirement with my company's insurance broker (who works for my company, not the insurance company), and the representative said that while the insurance company is strict, it is not impossible - then confirmed that this place sounds like a scam and recommended the chiropractor they use...

Great!

Dr. Coogan and Dr. Scott are the best! Not only did they help heal the pain that caused me to go to them in the first place, they took the time to educate me and teach me how to care for my nervous system in a more holistic way. They really care about their patients and are not the kind of chiropractors that just adjust you in 10 minutes and send you on your way. The things I've learned from them will stick with me for the rest of my life.

I thought the cost for their services was very reasonable. They will work with you to find a plan to work in your budget. They also accept insurance.

Also, a shout out to Jewels, the office manager, and Megan, the massage therapist. Both ladies are amazing and great at what they do.

Great!

I was referred to Eastside Spine & Wellness through another Chiropractic company and I am so glad that they did. The team, Dr. Coogan, Dr. Scott, Jewels, and Megan are very welcoming, friendly, and professional. This is the second Chiropractor have seen and so far their are several differences in comparison. Dr. Coogan & Dr. Scott go out of their way to make sure that not only are you receiving the best treatment for what you need but he also taking the time to make sure you are educated throughout the entire process. The previous Chriopractor I saw did not nearly educate me enough in what was going with my spine where Dr. Coogan actually showed me my x-rays and explained to me what my spine was doing and what really needed to be done. I also love the massages in a comfortable, clean and relaxed environment provided by Megan. Then last but not least Jewels is great about fitting me in their schedule and not only remembering my name walking through the door but actually making an effort to ask me how my day has been going. Overall I am very happy I started receiving treatment at Eastside Spine & Wellness and the results I have seen and felt.

Recommend!

I could not be more pleased with Dr. Coogan, Dr. Scott and staff. I have received top-notch treatment and service from Eastside Spine & Wellness; I am so glad I decided to take a friends' recommendation and try them out. I have been experiencing some low-level discomfort for years in my back, neck and hips from sitting at a desk all day, and this past year my discomfort has increased to actual pain. With the treatment I have been receiving for the past 6 weeks, I feel so much better! I sleep better, and have more energy and stamina to go to the gym after work! Dr. Coogan and Dr. Scott ask all the right questions, and have taught me a lot about my spine health and structural wellness. I will be a life-long patient.

Megan is the most outstanding masseuse I have ever gone to! Hands down, she's the best! I'm reluctant to post this, as I'm sure it will be more difficult to get into see her, but she so deserves your business. I've been going to her for several weeks and have had a huge improvement in how I feel and sleep!

This is the only chiropractor I've ever been to personally, so I have no other frame of reference (hence limiting my rating to 4 stars), but I started going here based on a friend's recommendation, and I must say I'm definitely a fan.

Pros:
- Pretty cool, laid back doctor who actually explains the "why"s behind what he does in his chiropractic practice. Every new patient & his/her significant other gets invited to an intro session he holds once a week for free.
- Very flexible & accomodating to my needs; corrective vs preventative, how often, how long, etc. - it's all up to your needs, and treatment will be based on the ongoing dialogue.
- Customer service is pretty good.

Cons:
- I live in Seattle, so a visit to Kirkland isn't the most convenient, but I tried to go after I leave my office in Redmond.
