I went in to talk about female hormonal acne around my chin area

For me this was the Worst! experience I felt the so called "Doctor Buchanan" was rude
condescending and most unhelpful. I went in to talk about female hormonal acne around my chin
area and immediately was given a 500$ list of herbs and tinctures to start. I wasn't able to finish my
concerns regarding my skin condition and or talk about my medical history with PCOS before being
given the prescribed regimen. I tried to ask more questions and find out how most of these herbs
and things would be helpful and what each one of them was going to address individually.
Dr Buchanan cut me off and said "that's what I am here for so you don't have to worry they have no
negative side effects it's what you need to help balance out your hormones and acne."
I didn't say anything else and decided to leave to think about her recommendation much to her
dismay.
I went home and looked up a few of the tinctures and herbs she had recommended and there were
unwanted and quite a lot of side effects to watch out for that can possibly cause potential harm.
I just want to say I think this naturopath is not the one for me and sharing my experience is my only
goal to put information out there for others to do their homework before entering into a regimen and
maybe get several opinions before choosing the right Naturopathic clinic.
I will not reccommend Health Moves and Dr Buchanan.

I feel that Dr Buchanan saved my life.

I gave up on reg. docs after my kidneys began to fail from having been prescribed a migraine med
that contained too much Tylenol. I decided to try a different type of doc and chose Dr Buchanan
even though I was told I would be put on a waiting list. My renal specialist had told me I would
probably eventually need a kidney transplant.
I feel that Dr Buchanan saved my life. She did a through screening and started me on herbs and
acupuncture to remove the toxins from my body. I am now worry free and healthy!
I recommend her and her clinic. Every doctor in the clinic is good. My daughter and son see
different docs then I do and get excellent care.
