I'm looking forward to hiring Amy on future jobs.)

Although I ended up booking work through a plumber because of the annoying way my house was
built I still feel inclined to write up a review based on my positive experience with AmyWorks. From
the moment I called up and spoke to Sheila who was very pleasant, to the ease of scheduling an
appt, and most importantly to Amy who is kind and helpful - I've had a great experience. She
showed up at my house and inspected the work that I was looking to have done. It turns out that
my townhouse was built by a less than stellar planner and requires more work than previously
anticipated. Amy was generous in not charging me for the time she spent inspecting and even
gave me a recommendation on who to call that could help me. Honest and fair contractors are hard to come by and I both appreciate and try to pass on the good vibes where I can. I'm looking
forward to hiring Amy on future jobs that should come up and you should too.

I was really surprised at her response to my inquiry, and will not be calling them back for any projects.

The mostly positive reviews gave me hope that Amyworks could be a good company to use to get an
outdoor railing installed for my front door steps. I also liked that I would be working with a woman-owned
company in a male industry.
When I called yesterday, the woman who answered told me that they were not interested in building my
railing because their past customers have refused to pay them when they've done similar projects and she
expected that I would do the same.
The railing I called her about would extend only the length of three steps, so it seemed like this should be a
straightforward project.
I was really surprised at her response to my inquiry, and will not be calling them back for any projects.
