When I bought my home back in 2012 Christine did an amazing job throughout the entire process. She absolutely destroyed the good faith estimate from Wells Fargo and made sure I got the garage door opener and blinds for free. She's very friendly, professional, and looks out for your best interest. I recently emailed her about a potential refinance to a 15 year loan. She could have easily made money off the refinance, but instead she recommended I make extra principal payments since my rate is already so low. I can always count on her sound advice and wouldn't hesitate to do business with her in the future. Thanks for all your help Christine!

I was referred by a friend and agent at Redfin to work with Christine at Caliber Home Loans and I couldn't be happier in my choice to do so. To say that my situation was complex is an understatement, especially for a first time home buyer. I was purchasing my condo directly from my landlord in a private transaction and had literally no experience with real estate or the processes involved with completing the transaction. Not to mention, my building was\is under litigation and had multiple extra steps during the approval process. Christine and her team were there to support and guide me throughout the process. They were fast, responsive, professional, and courteous. I don't think I would have been able to complete this transaction if it weren't for her team. I know that the size of my mortgage may not have been worth all of this work, but Christine and her team made me feel like a million bucks. I would definitely refer friends and family to Christine.

We were looking for a non-standard mortgage, trying to buy our first house at a time when the Seattle market was, in a word, insane. Christine and her team were recommended to us by our realtor, and after inquiries with a few other lenders they emerged as a clear choice for us. Their ability to secure a quick turnaround on the loan and keep us competitive in the buying process was invaluable, and they were willing to work with us to put together a loan specific to our needs. The team was incredibly responsive to calls and emails throughout the home buying process, and helped us get a primary home loan and second home equity loan closed a week earlier than expected. Fantastic experience -- would definitely recommend Christine and her team.

We worked with Christine on a loan for a new condo purchase in Downtown Seattle. She was very informative and patient with our questions and offered to meet and speak on the phone at our convenience, usually after normal work hours. We ended up going with another lender because they are a friend of a friend, but we really appreciated her consultation and enjoyed working with her. She was also very receptive to matching / beating competing offers!

Just locked a home loan on a condo with them, basically because we ran out of time. I really wanted to like them since my realtor whom I've had a great experience with recommended caliber, but they failed in almost every way. the online loan application was easy and convenient to fill out. Everything after that was poor at best. First of all I was made to feel like they were doing me a favor whenever they deemed it necessary to return a phone call. They would remind me of how busy they were before squeezing me in for short 1-2 minute talks. I called probably a dozen times during their business hours and talked to a live person 3 times. If you're going through the loan approval/application everything is time sensitive, so it was frustrating that my phone calls were only returned to "apologize" for rising interest rates, with continued advice to float my loan out. Following my loan officers advice on floating my loan ended up with an interest rate .40% higher than my original estimated rate. Finally they took no time to explain anything about my loan, no review to make sure I understand the terms, and when I asked for clarification on terms I didn't understand I was given a rushed exasperated explanation that made me feel like it wasn't my loan officers job to help me understand my loan or the process. In summary, made me feel like a small fish by barely giving me the time of day, poor etiquette in answering and returning phone calls, and poor advice on the direction of interest rates costing me money.

Christine was referred to us by our Realtor, Javilla Creer. We are new to the Seattle area and had no idea where to turn but we are so thankful that we found Christine and her team. We felt well taken care of at our first meeting and all throughout the escrow process. We worked a lot with Kris Hoglan who was always friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely prompt to return emails and phone calls. We loved being able to sign almost all of our documents electronically and communicate primary via email. Kris and Christine made the process completely non-stressful and seamless. We closed on time and would absolutely use Christine and team again!

My situation was unique (more like challenging) which created a lot more work than was probably necessary for all of us and they worked through everything while keeping me informed every step of the way. I used Christine Madrid and her team at Cobalt Mortgage for my recent home purchase, and I recommend them highly. They were extremely helpful and responsive whenever I had questions along the way. Buying a home is an extremely stressful process. Christine and her team were simply outstanding about alleviating that stress, and making sure the process went smoothly. Marissa Vest on Christine's team was my primary point of contact, and she was great to work with. I would absolutely work with Christine and her team again in the future for my mortgage needs.

Christine, Marisa and the rest of the Cobalt team were amazing and made my loan process a breeze. This was my first home purchase as a divorced woman. My ex-husband and I bought 2 homes together and the process was no where near as smooth as this one. It was seamless. I recommend Christine and her team for your mortgage needs.
