Fred was awesome! He made time for our small repairs, was on time, helped us figure out what needed to be done (and what didn't) and charged a very reasonable amount to have it done right. Highly recommended.

My husband found Fred on . We have since had him come to do repairs around our house three times already, and each time Fred has never disappointed us. He shows up right on time, puts on shoe covers before coming into the house, and clean up before he leaves. He is very detail-oriented. He will carefully examine the problem and figure out the best approach to the solution, then wholeheartedly put his effort in the work. This last job he did for us required a lot of patience and physical labor. There was a section of our floor that was making a lot of noise when we walked on it, and it just could not be resolved with putting screws down as usually done. So Fred carefully removed the carpet to expose the flooring and found that this section of the floor did not have any floor joists underneath for support. He took out the floor boards and added two large beams underneath for additional support and restored everything back to normal. That part of the floor now feels so solid. I am very impressed with the result and the time he put into it. That same day he also took care of a cabinet door under a bookshelf that would not close properly because of the weight of all the books. Fred also did a great job solving the problem. I highly recommend Fred not just for these types of jobs but also because he exudes a sincerity and work ethic that makes working with him so pleasurable. There's a reason he's usually booked a month out, but it is worth the wait.

Definitely 10 stars for Handyman Fred!!! My dog chewed a couple walls in my apartment and I wanted them fixed as im moving out this week and don't want to get charged a lot. I found handyman on time on and gave him a try because of the great reviews. Thank you to everyone who left a review before me, I am VERY happy I hired this guy. He is nice, on time, and does awesome work!!! He was super fast, and when I came to look at it this morning, it went above and beyond my expectations. It looks perfect!! It cost a little bit more than I expected, but I'm sure it did take some time and it was definitely worth every penny. He left my keys exactly where he said he would too. Great experience. Thank you Handyman On Time! You rock!

I found Fred through his excellent reviews. We needed to replace a non-functioning ventilation fan on the third floor of our townhouse. Fred was very responsive to our email for a quote. He was also very communicative during both the quote and installation process. He would send email appointment confirmations for both, the day before. Fred has professional skills. More importantly, Fred has people skills. And that is important to me. He's an interesting, honest and well-rounded person. He's cool guy. Really cool. It's a good combination to possess.Fred should change his name to Handyman Early. He arrived early for the quote. He also arrived early to complete the job. Call Fred if you want things done on time. Or even early.

UPDATE: He showed up and got super defensive that I hadn't responded to his confirmation email (sent at 11pm the night before our 9am appt) I said please, just fix the washing machine I've really been counting on this. Then I made a bank run because I was out of checks and wanted to pay him. When I got back, he had left AND LEFT MY BUSINESS OPEN/UNLOCKED WITH NOBODY IN IT without calling or texting me or anything. Ironic name for this business considering this is the second week in a row I'm waiting for this guy to actually show up. Last week he didn't come at all and this week, he's already half an hour late. I rushed over to make sure these repairs got done before business hours. He berated me for not responding to the confirmation email that he sent last night at 11pm... when I was already in bed BECAUSE I HAD TO GET UP EARLY TO MEET HIM, WHICH WAS APPARENTLY A WASTE OF TIME BECAUSE HE'S NOT HERE. I will update this and increase the rating if he actually ever decides to show up and fix anything, as agreed in our original email on March 2, over two weeks ago!

Fred is great, provide excellent service and always on time He is very professional and polite, the communication is very clear and did the excellent job that beat my expectation. The dry wall repaired was perfect and he worked very hard to make sure everything get taken care of during the repair process. After the repair, he replied email on time and also help us to scan, sign and take care of some insurance forms. The rates and charges are very reasonable and exactly the same as the original estimate offered. We will definitely use him again in the near future, and always recommend him to my co-workers in Microsoft.

I had to get an exhaust fan and a toilet replaced, along with some miscellaneous electrical work and drywall repair in my bathroom. Looked around for reviews on and decided to call Handyman On Time. Fred gave me a quote and mentioned that there was a wait of three weeks or so because they were booked up weeks in advance, and I decided to wait since it wasn't an emergency.His communication was excellent - he responds to emails and pictures and gave me quick updates about exactly when he can arrive, and was right on time. I'm glad I waited! Fred is excellent at what he does. and the quality of work was excellent. He's a hard worker and when he found that the electrical work that I needed wasn't as easy as expected, (a whole new line needed to be pulled and a new breaker had to be installed to support the load) he quoted me a very fair price for the additional work that he had to do. I asked about replacing a sink and he actually suggested that it's better to have the existing layout instead of getting the new kind I wanted - I just ended up repairing it and that saved me a lot of money. I love the fact that he did not try to oversell me on anything. He even ran and got the best fan that he could when he found that the fan that he originally planned to install couldn't be installed because of structural restriction in my building. Fred is also a very hard worker. My fan repair took longer than expected but he was gracious and stayed late and made sure everything was finished off and working properly, instead of having me take another day off, and worked a 12 hour day doing not-so-light physical work. The wall was repaired perfectly, I couldn't see the joining line even after I knew where it might be and looking at it from up close.I also appreciated his kindness, we chatted about a bunch of stuff while he was working and he's just a great person overall - very polite and friendly, extremely patient and has no sign of "attitude" that some other contractors tend to have when I've asked them questions or advice about repairs. He was more than willing to give detailed tips on how to do certain things myself if the need arose. He offered to come take a look if I wasn't fully satisfied after everything dried/settled, but I didn't have a reason to call him afterwards because everything turned out perfectly. More than six months later, the items that he installed are in top shape and never once had I any problems with any of the installations. I would definitely contact him again for any future work to be done on my condo. Now I know why his business is booked weeks or months in advance. His work is definitely worth the wait.

Fred is the best all-around handyman we've ever had the pleasure of hiring. I found him here on and he truly lives up to the five star rating. Fred is one of the best contractors I've ever worked with! He takes pride in delivering fine work and always has his customer's best interest in mind. Fred helped us on some window and door repair work. Everything was done with my complete satisfaction. He is always very patient in explaining what to be expected throughout the process, also was always happy to answer my follow-up questions through email, phone. He even returned for follow-up visits free of charge to clarify questions that can't be easily resolved through phone or email! Fred never hesitates to share his handyman knowledge. He's taught us many valuable lessons on how we can to do some of the easier repair works ourselves and how to maintain our house to prevent possible expensive repair work in the future! Fred is the best that we have ever worked with. He is so helpful and honest. We want to give him and his team more stars if we could. We are so happy with the work they have done for us. The gazebo that we got from Costco was so hard to put together, but they did an awesome job. We think of them when we use it. Thank you again Fred and your team.
