The chicken was shredded so you got chicken in every bite.

I went to The Schoolhouse Bistro on Friday June 18 at 11:15am. I was impressed by the
appearance of the restaurant and surprised by how small it was. I would call it intimate. We were
immediately seated. I had made reservations on Opentable.com. I ordered a diet coke and was
surprised when handed a glass of ice with a can of diet coke. My date and I shared the bread plate
for $3. Was not impressed by the oil drizzle but the butter with sea salt was delicious. We got 4
slices of good bread. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie $11. It was delicious and the best I have ever
had. The puffed pastry top was flaky, and buttery. The chicken was shredded so you got chicken in
every bite. My date ordered the Chicken Cesar Salad and said it was good. I had a bite and thought
it was crispy creamy and not over-powered with dressing. We will definitely eat here again!!

The meats appeared very dry and lacked flavor,The server didn't know what cheeses he brought us.

Stopped by for a quick bite between tasting. We ordered bacon wrapped dates and the cheese
and charcuterie plate. First, the dates were good. The meats appeared very dry and lacked flavor,
like they were presliced. The server didn't know what cheeses he brought us. One cheese was
incredibly bad tasting, not like Blue or stinky good french soft cheese , but truly gag worthy. No one
apparently knew what that cheese was.
Lastly their beer and wine selection was very main stream/large distributor provided. Items like
boom boom syrah and huntsmen red. Major miss in the middle of wine country.
