If you're a burger connoisseur, you need to dine here; I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed!

If you're a burger connoisseur, you need to dine here; I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed!
I prefer this location to the Redmond site (which is closer to my house), as this restaurant is larger
and parking is 1000 times better. (This site is located in the mall that houses TJ Maxx and Rite
Aide). The interior is similar to the Redmond venue: semi-industrial interior with cute cow-oriented
puns on signs on the walls, open kitchen, small (but well-stocked) bar area, both tabled booths and
also bar-height fixed tables with stools, and a small outdoor patio area. Cute, casual, family
friendly.
There are a ton of gourmet burger options. My husband had the Tipsy Cow (said he wanted to try
the restaurant's namesake). It did not disappoint! He said it was one of the best burgers he's ever
had. And trust me, he's had thousands. My kid and I ordered the spinach Cobb salad, substituting
goat cheese for blue cheese. It was delicious. Very fresh, huge portion (we ended up bringing some
home), beautiful avocados and thinly sliced portobella mushrooms, hard boiled eggs, and a very
healthy amount of goat cheese. The honey mustard dressing was a tad too mustardy, as the ratio
to honey was a bit off, but we still loved the salad and would definitely order it again.
My other kid ordered the Caesar salad with grilled salmon on top. The salmon was excellent:
perfectly cooked and seasoned, very flavorful. The salad itself, though, was disappointing, as it was
totally saturated and drenched in Caesar salad dressing. It was almost as if a whole bottle was
poured on the salad. My kid ate the salmon and a few pieces of lettuce and called it a day; she left
95% of the salad there (we couldn't take it home, drenched as it was). This is the primary reason
I'm not giving a 5-star rating.
We all shared the sweet potato fries. They were to die for! And the portion presented was SO big,
we had lots to bring home. What a great deal!
My kid had the freckled strawberry lemonade. It was very good, but refills cost a buck. (It would be
nice to have unlimited refills, like Red Robin, but a buck isn't bad, so no complaints here).
This place gets busy, so I'd advise coming early or at an off-time. We JUST beat the dinner rush
hour, so we were seated promptly at 5:15 or so.
Great place. Especially for burgers. We are moving in less than two weeks to Canada, and we
already know we're coming back here at least once more - for more burgers. :)

Well, I tried it and it was delicious!

When I first saw the Tipsy Cow, I knew I had to give it a try. I love burgers and it has a cute name.
Well, I tried it and it was delicious!
They have a great selection of gourmet burgers and lots of local beers on tap. I had the
Brewmaster hold the cheese and add avocado (I'm from California so avocado is pretty much
required for me). The burger is substantial and comes with a generous helping of fries. I particularly
liked the fried onion ring and BBQ sauce. Plus there was a delicious strawberry lemonade if you
don't feel like having beer. The atmosphere is also nice and you can sit in the bar, restaurant, or on
the patio.
All in all it's a solid burger joint that I would recommend but it is a little pricey.
