Great atmosphere!

Sit at the chefs counter if available! Such an awesome experience. We ordered the truffle fries for starter and the ratatouille for our main course. Highly recommend both. This is my second time eating here and both times were phenomenal. Atmosphere was great, food was delicious, service was impeccable and the experience of watching the chefs in action was awesome! You won't be disappointed!

I came here on a whim while exploring the Kirkland waterfront. It's really close by and easy to find. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the cheese plate with one of the sandwiches and was very impressed. The food came out pretty fast for it being during the dinner hour. The staff was super friendly and made sure we were happy with everything. The atmosphere feels very nice, so it's a great date location. I am definitely coming back.

Nice, relaxing interior with excellent drinks. The bartenders were friendly as well. Try the "lay on the bay" if you like your gin a little sweet.

Uber cool bar w decent grub - right in the middle of the Kirkland strip. My 2nd visit and B&B did not disappoint. Vino by the glass options are decent - truffle fries with aioli and raspberry ketchup (yum!), shrimp tostones, Albondigas and oysters -- all amazing. Kinda dark and divey - yet hipstery. Service was swift and atmosphere is lively. Will definitely be back!

Bottle & Bull is certainly a welcome establishment in the Kirkland area. It's Old World -Meets Modern Decor and classic cocktails make it a great place to stop in. Their door was a bit odd to find...covered by velour draping it looked more like a secret passage way to enter. Their happy hour offerings are better than most, but still expensive. $10 for a burger on HH and an extra $4 for fries. In reality, it's a $2 discount from their menu. The burger was flavorful...a touch messy...but overall pretty good. Their fries were a meager offering for $4 but plenty to eat. It came with a tasty aaoli and ketchup that had a spicy kick to it. Their food is good but have not tried anything outside of happy hour as of yet. The craft cocktails are certainly the winner here - all well thought out and interesting flavors. Those on their HH are mainly standard drinks but the Katie Marie was quite good with its mix of vodka, elderflower, and sparkling wine. All in all a good experience and a fun place to grab a drink.

One of the better happy hour offerings in Kirkland. Nice range of both drinks and food. Had an Old Fashioned and their burger. Both were excellent, actually exceeded my expectations. Nice vibe and friendly staff contributed to a very enjoyable overall experience. Next time I'm in Kirkland, I'll be stopping by to sample the rest of the menu.

Wonderful! We went here tonight as part of our Galentine's Day (Valentine's Day w your friends!) and it was great. We sat in the bar where they make their craft cocktails and have beautiful I ordered a Katie Marie (vodka, elderflower liqueur, orange, grapefruit, hopped grapefruit bitters, sparkling wine) and my friend ordered a Damn Gina (its just fun to say! - I think it was martini-like). We were there at the tail end of HH, so that was cool and well priced (my drink was $8 vs $10). For dinner I odered the Pan-Seared Scallops (porcini crust and mushroom risotto) = deliciousness AND gluten free! My friend got the Smoke Beet Salad (pickled huckleberries, gorgonzola, candied nuts) and the Truffle Pomme Frites. The guy next to us got the pork belly sliders, pomme frites and the Cubano sandwich - which was aparently super yummy as my friend had a few bites. The staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely want to hurry up and go back there to try more drinks (love craft cocktails!) and food. Highly recommended!

I had high hopes for this place. What's there not to look forward to - experience the travels of Ernest Hemingway through their scratch cooking with hand crafted cocktails. After getting a parking spot right out front, we were seated immediately. Warm, soft lighting throughout and wooden benches and tables. Friendly waitresses in plaid shirts. Loved the ambiance already. One large TV right by the entrance, and certainly not a sports bar. Quiet enough to have a conversation. Love that too! Great happy hour selection of proteins and cocktails. Pork belly sliders: flavorful although the pork was a little dry. Waygu beef burger: good. I would order this again. Fries: overdone with lovely burned overtones. Disappointing. LOL. I saw the fries at the next table. Ours were definitely an older batch heated up. Drinks: Katie Marie: vodka, elderflower, grapefruit, orange, grapefruit bitters, sparkling wine. Nice tangy cocktail. Not as refreshing as I'd hoped. Dark & Stormy: aged rum, black strap rum and ginger beer. A drink characteristic of robust molasses and licorice flavors of Black Strap rum. Not for the faint hearted if both these ingredients are not your favorite. Service: excellent. I "may" be back for the drinks and perhaps try their non-happy hour plates. I had hoped for a wow but perhaps it was a bad night in the kitchen. I can see myself enjoying hanging out here, and I hope to have better luck with their food.

HOLY MACKEREL!! or in this case I should say "smoked salmon"!! That is indeed a smoked salmon garnish on my drink you see. And that salmon was part of the reason I traveled to KIRKLAND from NEW YORK. I grew up in this neck of the woods and never would I have thought there would be a destination cocktail spot in good ol' downtown Kirkland! And yet here we are and let me be the one to introduce you to my new addiction- Bottle and Bull. I first heard of Bottle and Bull on one of my fave podcast "How To Be A Better Drinker" episode 27 with Bottle and Bull's one and only Justin Godsey, bar manager. soundcloud.com/howtobeab… The Bottle and Bull is inspired by Hemingway! And focuses on Hemingway's novels and travels from Paris, Havana, Pamplona, and Florence and infiltrated those elements in the food and the drinks. If you are a book nerd and a booze hound this is your place. I came for happy hour on a Friday at like 3:30. It was not too crowded considering the happy hour started at 3pm. There are NO MINORS allowed. So I had to pull myself away from the fam. The restaurant/bar has a nice variety of seating from the bar to booths and tables. I liked the simplified decor. And enjoyed the large torrero photograph. I knew I was getting the "And the Sea" cocktail: old overholt rye, cynar, cocchi Americano, lemon juice, abbott's bitters, smoked sea salt, smoked salmon garnish! The smokiness of the sand "smoked salt" and the meatiness of the rye and cynar work so well and since, cynar is an artichoke amaro it does not compete with the other flavors. The cocktail was inspired by "Old Man by the Sea" . It really blew my mind! I could not have been happier. I highly recommend this drink. The cocktail menu is one of the best I've seen. It's just very unique and creates the right twists on the classics. The happy hour menu had oysters which is a must when you are in the northwest. And I'm a sucker for egg dishes so I had to order the pickled eggs stuffed with a salmon mousse. The oysters were fresh and delicious. I will definitely be getting them every time I come. The eggs were beautiful and tasty. It was the perfect amount of food and my drink was like an app of it's own. I can not wait to come back on my next visit! I will also highly recommend it to my friends and fam. Thanks to Matt James for the heads up and Justin for killing it in cocktails (made my drink on my visit) and the owners Chad and Jessi for seeing that Kirkland void. (PS I will have to visit there first business in Walla Walla on my next visit)
