4 Star for the food, 2 Star for the service!

4 Star for the food, 2 Star for the service! The food is always delicious here -- we had the grilled beef salad and the Chiang Mai curry noodles. Both were fantastic! The issue was the service which was inattentive and disorganized. First we ordered wine (and we were sitting in the bar) which never came. We had to go up to the bar to ask for our drinks. Then we constantly were missing utensils -- both serving spoons and chopsticks, etc. Every time we asked they brought us 1 instead of 2 sets or forgot entirely. It took forever for them to take our credit cards and then they came back with only one. Turns out they dropped one card on the floor and then had to re-run the transaction. Hoping this was just an off night for service as I love this place!

WONDERFUL!! My husband (who isn't a big Thai food fan) and I (who love Thai food) both enjoyed the specialty dishes we ordered.

My first experience with Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen came via a delivery from Bite Squad. I am SO HAPPY they deliver to our address as we haven't been able to find a Thai restaurant that has food this good and delivers in our area. And the food was WONDERFUL!! My husband (who isn't a big Thai food fan) and I (who love Thai food) both enjoyed the specialty dishes we ordered. We had the Isarn Fried Rice (completely addictive and the best fried rice I have eaten in forever), Fried Basil Leaves with Pork Strips (this dish and the Deep Fried Salted Beef will cause serious cravings), and the Sweet Corn Salad with Young Coconut (beautifully fresh and an excellent companion alongside the Green Papaya Salad to cool down whatever heat level you order. I really appreciate when the spice level is as requested and at Isarn, every dish was on point! We also ordered Hat Yai Fried Chicken, but I can't give a fair assessment of this because my husband ate it and didn't put on the sauce or the crunchy topping, which I'm sure would have made a world of difference). One thing I have to heartily recommend is utilizing the side/dipping sauces the Chef provides. For both the Deep Fried Beef and the Isarn Fried Rice, which were great dishes without the sauce, became so heightened with the accompanying sauces! I also ordered the Isarn Noodles with Coconut Milk (which I didn't eat until the next day) was even splendid reheated in the microwave! I would definitely recommend this place, and with locations in both Kirkland and Lynnwood, I'm going to have to go check out their brick-and-mortar locations as well.

Disappointed!

Came for lunch on a weekday with a group of friends, looking forward to some local Thai food. Parking can be tough, as it's right on Lake Street, but there's a free (until 5:00 pm) parking lot down by the waterfront with lots of spots. It's a beautiful restaurant inside with comfortable seating. The restaurant was pretty busy, and we were greeted and seated quickly. Drink orders put in, and first round delivered fast. I ordered the wings appetizer for the table, and they were INCREDIBLE! And for me, that's where the fast service and incredible food stopped. Order was taken, second round of drinks ordered, and service just suffered. They brought dishes out two at a time with a 5 minute between sets, and our second round of drinks got lost. I had the Thai fried chicken was dry and over cooked, with almost inedible skin. Luckily there were enough moist dark meat to almost make it a meal. Two lunches, four beers ($6 Thai beer?) made it a $65 lunch. Just not a good value for my tastes. My girlfriend however was VERY happy with her seafood soup. One other negative, apparently the kitchen gets hot (thought that was normal) and they pended a door across from us blasting us with the chilly outside air. Luckily the closed it after many complaints. With all the local options, I won't be back.

Great spot for either family style or a personal lunch.

Apparently it's always busy here! We were able to get a table at 9 PM on a Tuesday but still had to wait about 10-15 minutes. I like that they use a text system, so you can walk away from the restaurant if the wait is a little longer. Service was prompt. The restaurant was very lively! There is a bar area with TVs. Great spot to munch during March Madness. Every dish came out piping hot. What we ordered: -Mini wings: Sweet and tangy. Very saucy and delicious. -Grilled fresh squid: So good!! Fresh is the key word. Came with a tangy, spicy sauce that paired well with the grill flavor. -Pad See Eiw: Sooooo good. Rich soy sauce flavor with plenty of meat! -Chiang Mai Curry: We got 1 star and it was surprisingly very spicy! Everyone at the table was reaching for water. I'm not a big fan of thai curry, but this was pretty good minus the intense spice. Great spot for either family style or a personal lunch.

Food was amazing! We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Came here for a quick lunch with my husband, and had less than an hour to get there, eat, and come back. We arrived at around 1:05pm and the place was packed! Luckily, we got the last table! The server came quickly, and gave us our menus. There was sooo much us to try!! I got the Chiang Mai Curry Noodles and my husband got the Isarn Set, which comes with papaya salad, chicken, and rice. The server was super nice and sweet, and immediately after we ordered, we each got a small soup! We didn't know entrees came with soup, so it was an awesome surprise. The food came in like 5 minutes!! Fastest kitchen we've seen! Food was amazing! The flavor in the curry was really good, and I loved the crispy noodles on top. And they give you tons of chicken! I couldn't finish, so it'll be my dinner tonight :) The Isarn set came with basically half a chicken!!! Even though we ordered spicy, it didn't seem spicy to me. But the salad was really refreshing. Also, we were in and out of the restaurant in like 35 minutes! Such quick and efficient service! We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

homemade coconut ice cream mmmmmm!

This place is always packed and busy with waitstaff bustling and swirling around. They've got a good lunch special and a decent happy hour. They serve $6 coconuts which gets a chop off the top, right behind the counter. We love the mini house wings and their street style minced chicken with basil. The decor really feels Thai and the proximity to the lake lends a beach vibe. It's northern style Thai food so you won't find your all your faves but be a little dating and order something else than your usual pad Thai. You won't be too disappointed. If you got room, order their homemade coconut ice cream.

Best Thai restaurant in Seattle/Eastside area. I'm from Thailand and their food is so good just like home.

Best Thai restaurant in Seattle/Eastside area. I'm from Thailand and their food is so good just like home. The menu here is variety and covered all highlight dishes from each part of Thailand (Central, north, northeast and south). Each region has its unique dishes and Isarn restaurant bring them all to Seattle. The food that served in common Thai restaurants in U.S. is mostly Central food. Going here make me miss my home country badly. Music, food, decor are just like going back home. The Isarn fried rice today tasted just like my favorite childhood restaurant back in Thailand. Lunch time can be noisy and a bit wait. Go when they just open for lunch or an hour before the dinner rush hours is recommended. Price is about 20% higher than other Thai places but trust me it worth the money.

Highly recommend and will definitely come again.

Came here for a friends birthday. We were a party of 16. They take reservations and were very accommodating! This is different from your traditional Thai place. They have several options beyond the Red, Green and Yellow Curry. The Thai Iced Tea was absolutely killer. The service was amazing, prices reasonable and the portions ample. Highly recommend and will definitely come again.

Still Isarn is my favorite Thai restaurant.

The service is quite slow sometime. The owners are always friendly and welcoming. I guess it common in Seattle-Bellevue area now. Everywhere I go seem to have under staff and average service. My favorite Isarn food is Papaya salad. Asked for 5 star spicy and got it not spicy 2times in a row kind of set me off. I like that they always have new special menu. It is fun to go back.Still Isarn is my favorite Thai restaurant. Every time I goes to Kirkland I don't want to eat anywhere but here.
