The food is amazing. The owner is very friendly and provides great service. Oh... and the food is so good.

This place doesn't seem to be very well known. The food is amazing. The owner is very friendly and provides great service. Oh... and the food is so good. Come check it out. Support small business. Athenian Chicken (pita wrapped) sandwich was awesome. Great desserts and sauces too. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Just tried Jasmine yesterday and the food was delicious.

Just tried Jasmine yesterday and the food was delicious. We got the chicken shawarma plate (grilled chicken slices on top of rice) and the beef kofta plate (ground beef with spices) on rice. The portion was more than enough for one person-and price is reasonable. The meat was flavorful and well spiced. The greek fries come topped with a creamy garlic sauce and feta cheese. These can become a dangerous craving we got take out so cant speak too much about their restaurant or service. But they seem professional. One thing we wished for is that instead of the thick gyro bread that comes with the meal-they would serve the original thin pita bread-its easier to dip with, and the gyro bread is thick and gets soggy-not good. Looking forward to trying their other menu items! Especially the rotisserie chicken!

I CANNOT STOP EATING HERE!! Yum! Yum! The food is fabulous.

Unfortunately, my job is just steps away from this place----- NOW I CANNOT STOP EATING HERE!! Yum! Yum! The food is fabulous. Turkish Coffee is the real deal. Amazing gyros and the hummus is to die for. The service is quick and friendly. Healthy ingredients that don't upset my stomach. I rarely find a restaurant that doesn't upset my stomach but this one is just fine. I highly recommend!

Horrible, horrible rice

Horrible, horrible rice, so bland. Couldn't even finish it. I ordered the lamb and beef gyro plate and literally got maybe 8-9 pieces of meat and a few onions. "Salad" was just basic lettuce and a piece of tomato and cucumber. For what it's worth the meat was flavorful, but seriously, 13.13$ without tip for a plate of food that doesn't fill me up, I will never return... Ever. Don't waste your time and money. Go to super gyros

I like the fact that they had kid menu

I have been here with my family few times. This place is not huge ( medium size) but clean. I have ordered Beef kifta kabab plate, chicken kabab and garlic fries. Beef kifta kabab and garlic fries were delicious and beef was succulent. Beef kifta plate and chicken plate comes with rice, pita bread, salad, humus and tahini sauce. I like the fact that they had kid menu which i ordered a mini plate combo. Guys working here are very friendly. Most of the time of our visit they had takeout order. Service was very slow during our recent visit and took almost 1 hour for our food to show up, but they were nice enough to give us some extra fries. This wouldn't stop me to come back here except i would probably order ahead.

The guys working here are really friendly and want you to enjoy the food.

I've been in a couple of times now, both times after playing a round of golf and being really hungry and uninterested in actually making something at home. It's a hard game. Beef and lamb gyro plate is outstanding. It's your normal vertical spit shawarma which they slice and throw on the grill with some ground spices. It picks up some nice caramelization and crunch along with the spice flavor. Served over yellow rice, with a small greek salad and some hummus, it's a big meal. Even being really hungry I didn't finish the whole thing. Hummus was super smooth, with a nice slick of olive oil on top and a few greek olives. Soft pita rode shotgun to scoop the hummus, and we got some baba ghanoush to go with. I don't know about you, but I just like to say baba ghanoush and I'm trying to find ways to fit it into more sentences. With golf still on my mind, you know how guys like to yell "Ba Ba Booey!" or "Mashed Potatoes!!" during golf tournaments to hear themselves on the telecast? I'm hoping someone will yell "BABA GHANOUSH!" when a guy crushes a drive off the tee. Now that would be strange. But I digress. The BG was delicious, smoky, creamy, but still had nice chunks of eggplant which added a nice texture. I thought it was well seasoned, and my wife loved it. She now thanks me for introducing her to this roasted eggplant dip. They also have rotisserie chicken in 1/4, 1/2 and whole portions in plates similar to the lamb gyro plate described above. Something to try next time. The guys working here are really friendly and want you to enjoy the food. If you walk in and order to take out, expect to wait a few minutes as they prep. everything. In my experience they are careful and methodical in putting the dishes together, and it's good quality. They have a large dining area to enjoy your food, which is clean and brand new, although during my visits most of the orders were for takeout, with just a handful eating in. The gyro sandwich was also heartily approved by my playing partner, who pronounced it the best gyro she's had. That's a win Jasmine, and she liked the BG too, so 2 for 2. She says we need to support this place to make sure they stay in business. I agree. Now maybe I can get her to yell "BABA GHANOUSH!" next time I tee off.

Overall, this place is great for an everyday weekday dinner.

I got a gyro plate and greek fries here. The gyro plate was very tasty. The meat was tender and well flavored, the rice was moist and well seasoned, and the greek side salad was good. The hummus was underwhelming and not very good for a mediterranean place. I would expect their hummus to be very good and made in-house and that seemed not the case. The greek fries were also underwhelming. There wasn't enough sauce and the sauce tasted under seasoned and lacked a distinct feta cheese flavor. The location is convenient and there is usually plenty of parking. The staff is pretty friendly. The interior is not very pleasant, it gives off an office vibe, so I would definetly order to go. Overall, this place is great for an everyday weekday dinner.

I would go here again.

Most solid, unassuming, simple, efficient food. I stopped by, empty stomach and grumpy on a cold sunny day and had a chicken shawarma sandwich and left with a full stomach and un-grumpified. If you are looking for a place in this area you will not go wrong with Jasmine Kitchen and I would go here again.

After seeing the favorable ratings for this restaurant,I knew I'd have to check it out

Jasmine Kitchen is situated in an unassuming strip mall at the corner of 124th and 116th in Kirkland. Now, to be honest, the name threw me off, and I thought it was a Thai restaurant (which we could use like another Starbucks around here). After seeing the favorable ratings for this restaurant, I knew I'd have to check it out, because I am a sucker for a good gyro. My husband and I finally got an opportunity to go in - we shared a classic gyro and a falafel sandwich. Big thumbs up for both. The pita is thicker than we prefer, but it was pillowy and soft... the perfect vehicle for the contents. They are generous with their servings, so much so, we couldn't finish to our last bites. (This is more than I can say for a popular gyro place in DT Kirkland that left me unsatisfied.) I know some people like their gyro meat shaved thinly, but they do serve thicker slices here. Their falafel was also delicious, crispy on the outside and not at all dry. The space is very clean with modern dining tables and chairs. They also have a shelf in the back where they sell spices and prepared foods. We appreciate the fact they have a kids' menu, making it a family-friendly dining option. Also, the Family Dinner, which includes a whole chicken, hummus, pita bread and salad for $21.99 is a healthy take-out option on busy nights.
