My friend took me here for the first time!

My friend took me here for the first time! I liked it here. I don't have many ramen places to compare
it to, but the soup itself had good flavor.. and it wasn't too salty - which I appreciated!
Our waiter was helpful, patient and nice! They're opening up a spot inside Bell. Square.. I'll for sure
check it out! I have yet to order something new!
Came here when I had the sniffles, and it was MUCH needed, blessss! PS: + an egg, just do it!

At the end of the day, this is a serviceable ramen spot that will get your ramen craving satisfied.

Coming from LA, I feel really spoiled with great ramen spots all over SoCal (Tsujita, Daikokuya, and
Shin Sen Gumi to name a few). I was a little skeptical to try Kizuki, but with so many locations in
Seattle, they must be doing something right, yeah? Plus, who wouldn't want some hot soup on a
cold winter's night?
The restaurant is a decent sized place with a clean interior. The host at the door was pretty friendly
and honest about the wait times which can span anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour during
dinner time. The service was decent.I think it's nice how you have the option between traditional and low sodium for your ramen. I got an
order of the traditional garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramen. While the noodles were cooked well (thick and
chewy), I wasn't particularly a fan of the broth. I thought it was pretty mediocre. Nothing about it
was special. It wasn't packed with the pork flavor that you typically find in a ramen broth and it
wasn't rich/thick enough in my opinion. The pieces of chashu were ok. I loved the egg though. It's
nice how the bowl comes with an egg instead of having to order it as a side.

Will definitely come back here when an occasion calls for it.

Kizuki used to be called Kukai until they found out what Kukai means in Hawaiian :)
It's located in a strip mall along Main St in Bellevue and there's plenty of parking! The restaurant
itself is pretty small so the wait can be long especially if you have a big party and not everyone is
present yet.
I've been to this location twice. It's pretty nice that you have the option to choose between the
traditional broth or the low-sodium broth for certain ramen. The first time I ordered the Garlic
Tonkotsu Shoyu and the second time I ordered the Miso Ramen. I think I'm more into the rich,
creamy broth flavor from the miso rather than the shoyu. The noodles were really yummy and
chewy. Chashu was tender, but I've had more tender chashu from other restaurants. Sides such as
fish cakes and soft boiled eggs cost a bit more, I love the soft boiled eggs though.
One of my favorite places to go for ramen but probably not my first. Will definitely come back here
when an occasion calls for it.
