In a word, "YUM"! And, can I say?FANTASTIC!

In a word, "YUM"! And, can I say? This visit was absolutely based on previous reasonable "YELP"
reviews. Let me jump to the most important part: The wine was great, the bread was perfectly
crusty thereby allowing the olive oil to just perfectly danced upon it, without making it into mush.
My friend and I ordered salads. I had the Portofino and Pat had the StrawberrySpinach...FANTASTIC!
The vinaigrette was to die for! Pat and I both were gobbling down our food
so fast we actually forgot to offer each other a bite!
Now, let's look at the décor: How fabulous to find a little gem like this in a little slip of a strip mall!
White linen tablecloths, stylish (and comfortable) chairs, wonderful music playing...I dare you to
keep a bad mood festering after more than three minutes time! You walk in and, poof, you are a
treasured guest. Seriously, how cool is that? Don't we all want to feel like that, at least once in a
while?
Okay, forgive me for a "soapbox moment", but can we all just remember the fact that people are
often more likely to find the time to grumble than to congratulate? Sad, but true. AND, isn't it
interesting how often those very same angry garden gnomes, who feel this deep longing to publicly
berate this, that, or the other thing, are even less likely to have the decency to actually speak with
the owner before posting a review, in order to give that person the opportunity to make it right?
Really? Really? Guess what? Sometimes cards don't work, sometimes a person may even forget
they already may have spent the money at another time, sometimes the flipping card reader fails,
and sometimes the dang zombies really may just be to blame. I know, wretched, but true. So, Miss April 11th, may I suggest you put your "big girl panties" on and go back. Talk to the
gentleman who owns the place and find out what might have gone amiss. May I also mention, the
couple next to us was literally swooning over the Eggplant Parmesan? And, they certainly appeared
to be capable of at least a modicum of a reasonable palate. I will not even go into the price
issues...Pasta Nova's prices are more than reasonable for the quality I received.
And, no, in case you are curious, I have (as my mother would have said) "no dog in this fight". I do
not know who owns, cooks, or cashiers for this lovely little find in the wilds of Woodinville, but I can
tell you this, IT IS WORTH GOING TO! My husband and I will be happily dining there at our most
earliest possible convenience, as will Pat and her husband.
Thank you for listening...now, I must find a cup of tea.
