Description

Out of desire to find a good breakfast spot on the Eastside in the mid 1980’s and finding few choices, Michal & Jo Ann Scott decided to start their own Cafe’ and purchased Emmilou’s in Redmond, Washington. It was in the fall of 1986 that the Village Square Cafe was opened with a 1940’s theme, an expanded menu focused on classic comfort food and a hand picked staff that understood the art of Cafe’ hospitality.

The Village Square Cafe was followed by the opening of the Issaquah Cafe (1989), Woodinville Cafe (1995), Crystal Creek Cafe (2002), Saw Mill Cafe (2005), Mukilteo’s Speedway Cafe (2007) and most recently the Sammamish Cafe (2011). The Cafes also established a bakery in the Crystal Creek Cafe that supplies all of the Cafes’ with freshly baked pies, cakes, cinnamon rolls and amazing bran muffins every day. Each store has a culinary team that cooks fresh turkeys, prime rib roasts, and prepares the most delicious scratch soups daily.

We are proud to be the place “Where it is never too late for breakfast” and our tradition of providing delicious food and amazing service continues to be our focus and our passion.

I will definitely be back!

Ordered some food to go in the AM. I had been eyeing the Monte Cristo in other yelp review
photos & it met every expectation I dreamt it would. It was beautifully rich & may be my new guilty
pleasure food. The atmosphere was cute when I popped in. I will definitely be back!

I love all of their omelets which are served with hash browns and toast. The California or Hobo are my favorite omelets!

As a Woodinville resident, the Woodinville Cafe is our go to breakfast joint. They don't have much
competition for breakfast places near by so they tend to win out of convenience but but it's also
delicious and reminiscent of an east coast diner.
I love all of their omelets which are served with hash browns and toast. The California or Hobo are
my favorite omelets but today I opted for a "create your own"...I should leave it to the professionals.
Just wasn't as good (because of my poor filling choices) but everything else was amazing as usual. My husband always gets the eggs Benedict - eggs perfectly cooked with the oozy yolk covering a
sour dough muffin and lemony hollandaise. So good!
Be prepared- you will have to wait on the weekends. It's always busy!! The only reason I didn't give
Woodinville Cafe 5 stars is the price. It's over priced for location and what you get. It's tough to get
out for under $35 for 2 (for breakfast...no booze)! But we keep going back :)
