The 2-star rating is for their poor customer service, not their product.

I had high expectations coming to this store for the first time based on other reviews; however, I was sorely disappointed.  I was greeted by a young lady upon entering and told her I wanted to browse.  During my 15 minutes of looking, the 3 girls who seemed like they were in high school gathered around the more mature-looking manager and were all chit-chatting.  I found what I was looking for and said "can I get some help?"  All four of them stared at me as if they couldn't decide who should help.  One finally walked over so I asked about additional sizes and their price matching policy (Nordstrom had the exact same shoes for $10 less).  She said she wasn't sure about price matching and told me I needed to ask the manager.  No - she should have asked.  They continued talking loud amongst themselves while I tried on several pairs of shoes.  Not once did anyone come over to check on me.  After I paid for my $110 pair of running shoes, the cashier handed me the receipt and said "there you go".  That is a pet peeve of mine when I patronize a business.  I expect a "Thank you" and not a "There you go".  The 2-star rating is for their poor customer service, not their product.

 So be careful when you just buy the shoe you like the looks of, have them help you.

The Brooks Outlet store which is a few doors down from the new PCC in Canyon Park just off of I-405 is awesome.  The staff can watch you walk and help you find a shoe that best suites you.  I had bought a pair of shoes at one of their truckload sales and they broke down earlier than I expected and when I went it to see about a new pair of shoes, the gal watched me walk and suggested a totally different shoe that would better work for my feet, etc.  So be careful when you just buy the shoe you like the looks of, have them help you.  I'm certainly not a runner, but it still makes a differences.

Love my Ghosts! First pair was from the outlet in Bothel. Two years later bought a second pair at Big 5 as I'm no longer near the outlet but I can't say enough good things about the shoes!
