Description

Earthlight Rocks & Gems opened in 1988, in Kirkland, WA. My dad Jack Frasl opened the store to support his love for stones. He laid out a legacy before me that was started as a spark when he got his first rock as a paper boy when he was young. My dad Jack and his second wife Collen wrote three books originally, each book took approx. 3 years to write. They wrote a fourth book combining all three books, which took approx. another 3 years. This book is called Crystalline Communion 2000. Most of the properties listed on my Etsy website are portions or excerpts from this book. My dad passed away from this dimension in 2009 and I have chosen to carry on this tradition and share my love for stones with the world. Mother Nature is amazing and I feel everyone should love and appreciate all that the world has to offer. You can purchase physically in the store, or shop on our Etsy site, of course if you have any questions or are looking for something special just let us know. this place is absolutely fantastic I've been helped by both Georgia who is an employee of the owners who I got the pleasure of meeting the other day both of them and they're all very knowledgeable and I had the best experience; they have a huge variety despite the small space and I just had the best time and will actually be going back today to get more rose quartz so this is a fabulous place if you're into gems and natural stone etc.

Drove to Kirkland from Renton as I am learning about healing energies from stones and I wanted to add a few to my collection. Parking is atrocious in this part of Kirkland so prepare for that. The shop is small and it was busy when I arrived, so walking around inside was a bit of a challenge. I found a few pieces I wanted, but I felt uncomfortable as the lady behind the counter was hovering around me, almost as if I was going to steal something. She asked me if I needed help at least 4-5 times. That really put me off. If I need help, I'll ask thank you.

Shop is extremely small and located in a little cute shopping center area. When I first arrived I was greeted by a lady she seemed nice and all but as I kept walking around the shop I could feel her hovering over me and watching every move I made. I felt like she thought I was going to steal, which made me feel so unwelcome. At one point she even offered to hold on to my items at the register for me, in other stores I would've thought that was super nice but here I felt like she was just watching out for her own shop. I felt weird walking in there and I regret even purchasing anything here. I drove to Moore than rocks, where they had a better selection, huge shop, super cheap prices and awesome service.

This place is pure awesomeness... I used to collect minerals back when I was a kid and the national geographic stores still existed! So for me finding this is also a blow cause I've driven by so many times not knowing it was here, and more importantly a rush! Since finding this gem (literally) of a store. I came here with Justin F to see some stuff and let me just say that their are the coolest things here. I WILL return for that Megladon tooth and probably one of what looks like either a bull shark or great white tooth pendant. Their prices are a little steeper that what a chain store would charge but I don't see any more rock chain stores anymore and the quality here is great! I couldn't leave without buying something so I saw a slab of purple agate that I just had to have so I grabbed one for 1.50$ what a solid deal for a beautiful piece. For people interested in minerals like myself for admiration or people who want the crystals for their positive energies this is the place to go!.

Located behind the shops on one of the main streets in town, this store has so many beautiful gems and stones! I've actually never seen so many in one location. And from what I understand the owner knows

where each one is from. (She wasn't there the day I went in with my friend.) A bonus is that the owner can string beads, making them into a beautiful necklace (and maybe earrings?). She only charges $10 and the cost of the snaplette thingy. I will be going back for more gems!Update: I had her string tiny turquoise beads I bought at an expo. She did a perfect job and took a lot of little things into consideration. She told me she keeps her Etsy and FB page up-to-date so check it out!

This shop is small but packed with stuff! Everything from $2.00 stones to things in the hundreds and even a few things in the thousands. I love the raw aura quartz and spirit quartz in the cases! Very helpful woman working there that was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this shop. Lots of unique things to choose from!
