I would definitely recommend them!

I had a great experience when I recently came in to get a wetsuit rental for my first triathlon. I didn't know anything about fit or what I was looking for (which can be very intimidating), and the folks here were super friendly and incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend them!

Best running shoes I've ever had.

They spent so much time helping us find just the right pair of shoes for my partner and I. My feet feel incredible, like walking on clouds. Best running shoes I've ever had. They feel so sturdy and really help alleviate the pain in my feet and knees.

Cool!

Hands down the best shoe store on the Eastside. Staff is super friendly and will make sure you will have the right shoe. My story was cool, as I went into the store thinking I needed to buy new shoes but the staff told me I just needed new shoe inserts saving me some $$. They earned all my future shoe purchases that day... Support Local!

I have the best shoe for the way and run.

I had such a great experience at this store a few weeks ago! I tried on many different shoes, the salesperson watched me run in each, he gave me a detailed description and the technology behind the shoes. I walked away very confident that I have the best shoe for the way I run.

I won't be back.

It's unfortunate but my enthusiasm for Everyday Athlete was extinguished today. I had a run in with the owner similar to a review below from Diana. After a couple years of buying shoes here I bought shoe that didn't work for me. I came back in to buy a different shoe and the salesman offered to take back the other pair and exchange them for the new ones. Wasn't my idea, I wasn't expecting to exchange and didn't ask for one, he offered. So I took them up on it. I returned the shoes and had them order the new ones. When I picked up my shoes today, I got a passive-aggressive, lecture from the owner on returning my shoes. It was extremely uncomfortable and he just kept at it and wouldn't drop it. So I'm dropping my rating down. It was ridiculous for him to treat anyone like that. I won't be back.

If you're looking for some great athletic footwear

I've walked by this store on various occasions when I used to live in the area - so I already knew that when I wanted to become a bit more serious with my physical activates, I would stop here to look around. Well, the time has come for me to invest in my physical health, so I started to peruse this store for new walking/running shoes. Upon entering this quaint little store, I was greeted by the front counter administrator, but as I started

to roam around the brightly lit sales floor, I was assisted by one of the co-owners, Lance. Given that there are a lot of options to choose from in a shoe - I was becoming overwhelmed with the decision making process. So, after talking to Lance about what I was looking for - he started to give me shoes to try, and asked me to run around the store. While doing so - he was observing my gait and using my feedback, would offer me different shoes to try. After a few minutes of trying on a few pairs of shoes - we finally found a pair that would suit my gait and my objectives. And I'm pretty comfortable with my purchase, as I've already put 30 miles on them jogging/running, and my feet or legs don't hurt from improper footwear. If you're looking for some great athletic footwear, and want the fuss of selecting a shoe eliminated where it's a simple, efficient, consultation service, make the effort and stop here at Everyday Athlete.

is the only place I'll go for running shoes.

Everyday Athlete is the only place I'll go for running shoes. I am a long time runner and have had many injuries and problems with my feet. Everyday Athlete has consistently been able to fit me in shoes that are right for my feet and running style. The staff is knowledgeable, passionate and caring. They never up-sell and always want what's best for the customer. I live in Seattle and still will never go anywhere but Everyday Athlete.

recommend

Okay, my first experience with this store may have been a fluke. I gave Everyday Athlete a second try and was assisted by Lance, one of the owners. He was super nice, and extremely knowledgeable, in helping me find a new pair of running shoes for my picky feet (I like them squishy, yet secure). During this visit, I felt like I was in an entirely different store. I also love the 30-day trial period, in which you can bring shoes back for a different pair if you don't love them. I recommend asking for him next time you go.

Everyday Athlete is a fantastic running store!

Everyday Athlete is a fantastic running store! It's been hard for me to find a pair of running shoes because I wear a narrow size 5. I've felt brushed aside before at other running stores because they don't carry my size and/or I'm only training for my first half-marathon. That was certainly not the case at Everyday Athlete. The man who helped me out was attentive, patient, and took the time to make sure the shoe fit me. He is more than knowledgeable about shoe fitting and running. He watched me walk and jog barefooted, and jog in the shoes I tried on. Each time he shared with me his observations and advice on what to look for in a running shoe based on how I walked/jogged. It's too bad we don't have a running store like this in Portland, OR, but I'm glad that I go up to Kirkland, WA often enough that this might be the place where I buy all my running shoes. I just hope they continue to keep smaller shoe sizes in stock. Again, EA is a great running store with *outstanding* customer service. I'll definitely be back.

If you are a walker, runner or triathlete

I cannot say enough about this place. Truly, now that I've been here, I can never go elsewhere, ever again. I registered for my first triathlon (will be held in August) and I knew I needed to get a tri-suit and reserve a wetsuit. Do you know how few places rent out wetsuits? I called all around town and e-mailed all, and there were but a handful of places - and this was the only store on the eastside I found that rented them out. So off I went to this Juanita store... Lance helped me out. I think he's one of the owners. He is a triathlete himself and he sure knows his stuff, inside and out. From the wetsuits to the biking apparel and gear and the running clothing and equipment. I picked his brain about subjects ranging from energy bars/drinks/Goo to shoelaces. He didn't mind at all. In fact, he was happy to answer all my questions, and he was very patient and he even initiated chat on other tri-related topics. What a resource of info! And he was incredibly helpful and honest about the wetsuit issue. Those of you in the know realize how many issues are inherent in the trying on of wetsuits for the first time. It was an experience, putting it on, I'll say that much! And Lance was unbelievably helpful in his advice and recommendations. The store itself is in a funky, newer part of Juanita, with trendy shops and cafes around. The store is small, compact, but immaculate and has whatever tri stuff you could want (except for swimsuits and bikes). The two changing rooms are roomy, with good mirrors, and I liked how there was a nice bathroom there for customers, too. If you are a walker, runner or triathlete, this is the place to go, for information on events, or for advice from the owners, or for any tri clothing or accessories or shoes. For myself, this is now the only place I will go to.
