Absolutely fantastic place. I went in to get a business professional suit and settled on a dark blue virgin wool piece. I box and lift weights and as such have unique body dimensions, with shoulders the size on a man much taller. My legs are also bigger than normal. This has always made finding a suit difficult. Yakov, the tailor was extremely knowledgable and helpful in the tailoring process. I now have a suit that fits like a suit should and have gotten 2 job offers this week. When I walk into an interview I'm always the most professionally dressed and the tailoring and style of this suit certainly makes me feel a difference in the way I'm perceived in the interview process. Add that to the fact the Yakov and his son Constantine run this great local business and are genuinely nice people and this is a place I'll definitely be coming back to, and one that you should visit.

Loved the store and the clothes.

Went there today for the first time. Loved the store and the clothes. I'm 48 years old and they sell clothes that are classy and stylish without looking like I'm trying to pretend like I'm in my 20's anymore. Clothes tend to be European styled and fit more snugly than American clothes, which I like. Free alterations included with all purchases. Enjoyed interacting with the owner, Yakov. I will definitely come back. As one reviewer said, the prices aren't cheap but they are reasonable.

Amazing, down-to-earth shop that has a really quality selection. Very stylish clothes. Fits right into my taste. If you need any button downs, shirts, pants, polos -- Seattle Thread is a great choice. The owner was also extremely nice, helpful and pleasant to deal with.

I have clothes that and be every time I go in the store. I wish that there were women's clothes with the effortless trendy casual kind of style. Excited that they started carrying the larger sizes, so my 6'7 man and I can buy more than hat, shoes, watches

Seattle Thread Company offers high quality and stylish mens clothing at affordable prices. The owners - a father and son team - are knowledgable and friendly. They carry a number of brands that I have not seen elsewhere, including clothing and accessories from local companies. I bought an awesome pair of Rodd and Gunn jeans there recently and receive compliments about them all of the time. Last weekend I bought a pair of OluKai casual shoes, a pair of SeaVees slip ons, and a sweatshirt by BYDFAULT (a Redmond company). Very happy with everything! Don't miss this gem next time you are walking around downtown Kirkland!

This is now my favorite clothing store as a 31-year-old guy who finally can afford to dress a little nicer. Prices for the quality are very reasonable, and the quality is very high and well-curated. I purchased my favorite sweater there, along with a great Italian jacket and some shirts. I intend to come back and refresh most of my wardrobe this season. Who knew Kirkland could support a place like this!

Really great store for men with an amazing selection. Extremely reasonable prices and the owners are very personable and nice. I also found out they do alterations for women, which is pretty cool. I love the fact that they can do their own alterations in the store, so everything will fit him perfectly. I'm so glad they've opened!!!

Excellent customer service and selection. The owner was as the last reviewer said very funny. We were immediately greeted. While in the store a middle aged couple came in and the owner recognized them and greeted them accordingly. Everything the man was wearing was from STC and his wife was very pleased as was he. The prices were high but reasonable for the very unique yet classic clothing styles there. Got some great shirts that I've already received compliments on. I especially enjoyed the decor and the free samples of lotions and creams. I plan on going back!

Word of advice for STC. Never ever ever judge anyone by the way they look and whether or not you think they are going to buy based on their look. I went into STC after having looked at their website. The items are quality and my son and husband would love the shoes and clothing. I went in to purchase some "just because" gifts. I like anyone else likes to be acknowledged when I walk into a store. And I like anyone else likes to be asked if I'm looking for anything in particular while in a store. I don't care to be hovered over, but I also don't like to be "watched." I walked through, I saw some items and I left because, I don't spend my money in places such as this and I definitely don't just window shop. So, one shot is all you get in customer service. I won't go back.
